Verified · 29 June 2026 — market list per International Securities’ own platform (DFM/ADX/NASDAQ Dubai directly, and Bahrain/Oman/AIX via Tabadul); see the in-app screenshot below.
What it is
International Securities is an SCA-regulated brokerage in Abu Dhabi (Al Bateen) — formerly SHUAA Securities, and originally the brokerage arm of First Gulf Bank (2001). On its own it’s an ordinary UAE broker for the local exchanges; what earns it a place in this registry is the cross-border reach it gets through the Tabadul hub.
What it reaches
- Home UAE markets: Dubai Financial Market (DFM), Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) and NASDAQ Dubai for equities, plus single-stock equity futures on DFM and Nasdaq Dubai.
- Via Tabadul (the GCC cross-border trading link): Bahrain Bourse (BHB), the Muscat Securities Market (MSX, Oman) and — the interesting one — the Astana International Exchange (AIX) in Kazakhstan.
By the registry’s count that’s four markets — the UAE, Bahrain, Oman and Kazakhstan — from a single account. The UAE exchanges are reachable plenty of other ways; the value here is the other three, each of which a foreign retail investor normally can’t touch without opening a local broker in that country:
- Bahrain Bourse and the Muscat Securities Market (Oman) — small GCC markets that usually mean local onboarding and an investor number per market; Tabadul folds them into your UAE account.
- AIX (Kazakhstan) — the AIFC exchange, the hardest of the three to reach from outside — where Kaspi.kz, Kazatomprom, Air Astana and Freedom Holding trade locally, some alongside their LSE/Nasdaq lines.
Use it / skip it
Use it if you want AIX (Kazakhstan) or the Bahrain/Oman boards without chasing a local broker in each country — one UAE account via Tabadul covers them, alongside the UAE exchanges. Skip it if you only need developed markets (a global broker is cheaper and broader), or if your residency or US-person status doesn’t clear SCA onboarding.
Verdict
A useful, specific tool: a single SCA-regulated UAE account that reaches Bahrain, Oman and Kazakhstan’s AIX through Tabadul. For the registry that’s the real value — all three are otherwise awkward for a foreign retail investor to access from outside, each normally requiring a local broker in-country. Verified by opening an account; the exact residency and US-person terms are the things to confirm for your situation.
