Status: Researched · 8 June 2026 — coverage confirmed against EXANTE’s platform equity-exchange list (screenshots below) and a relationship-manager email.
What it is
EXANTE is a serious global broker for globally mobile investors who can meet a higher minimum — more HNW/professional in feel than a normal app broker, with a single multi-currency account. Its market reach is broader than its public marketing makes obvious: alongside the developed markets, the platform’s own equity-exchange list includes several real emerging markets.
Market access (confirmed)
From EXANTE’s platform equity-exchange list (screenshots below, June 2026), confirmed by a relationship manager:
- Americas — US (NYSE, Nasdaq, AMEX, NYSE Arca, CBOE, OTC Markets), Canada (Toronto).
- UK / Europe — LSE / AIM / IOB, Frankfurt & Xetra, Euronext (Paris/Amsterdam/Brussels/Lisbon/Oslo), Borsa Italiana, Madrid, Vienna, SIX, Nasdaq Stockholm/Copenhagen/Helsinki.
- CEE & smaller Europe — Warsaw, Prague, Budapest, Bucharest (Romania), Sofia (Bulgaria), Athens (Greece), Cyprus.
- Middle East & Africa — Borsa Istanbul (Turkey), Johannesburg (JSE, South Africa), Saudi (Tadawul), Abu Dhabi (ADX) and Dubai (DFM).
- Asia-Pacific — Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, Australia (ASX).
That’s roughly 32 country markets — a real EM footprint (Turkey, South Africa, Saudi, UAE, plus CEE), not just developed markets.
The gaps that remain: no Latin American local exchanges (no B3/Mexico/etc.), no India (NSE/BSE), and no Southeast-Asian frontier (Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand). For those, use IBKR, local brokers, or the specialist routes in this directory.
Eligibility, entity & minimum
Private clients are typically onboarded through EXANTE’s Cyprus-based entity (CySEC-regulated), with a EUR 10,000 minimum deposit (individual; EUR 50,000 corporate). It works with clients worldwide except Syria, North Korea and the US, with enhanced due diligence for certain countries. One thing the relationship manager made explicit: if a market isn’t on the platform, EXANTE can’t execute a trade in it — the equity-exchange list above is the full list, with no off-platform desk routing. You can set up a no-documents demo account to inspect the live instrument list first; confirm custody and investor-protection details for your entity before funding.
Best / poor use cases
Use EXANTE when: you can meet the minimum and want one account that reaches developed markets plus Borsa Istanbul, the JSE, Tadawul, ADX/DFM and CEE — markets IBKR/Saxo/Swissquote don’t all cover cleanly.
Skip it when: you’re a US person or small account, want simple low-cost passive ETFs, or need LatAm / Indian / Southeast-Asian frontier local exchanges.
What reviews say
I haven’t funded an account, so this is third-party sentiment, not first-hand.
What reviewers praise:
- Broad, true multi-market DMA access — the diversification/breadth is the main draw (which is exactly why it’s on the directory for the hard markets).
- Reliable platform, intuitive once set up.
- Smooth onboarding and helpful RM/support when it works (several cite the Malta team) — consistent with my own experience with the relationship manager (Alok).
- Low headline fees/tight spreads, zero custody fees on stocks, flat €30 withdrawal fee.
What reviewers complain about (the recurring negatives):
- Fee surprises — the standout one is a documented case of large excess-margin/interest charges (one reviewer: ~€58k over a €140k portfolio) and a silent €425 “compliance fee.” Fee transparency is the most common gripe.
- Withdrawal / fund-access delays — some waited a week-plus to trade after depositing or to withdraw.
- Execution / corporate actions — scattered reports of poor fills, positions becoming uncoverable, and late/incorrect dividend or corporate-event processing.
- Support latency — praised by some, but others report email replies taking hours/days.
- WikiFX logs ~14 complaints and flags “exercise caution”; Trustpilot is mixed.
Net. The reviews line up with how the directory already frames it: a legit, well-regulated, unusually broad DMA broker that’s valuable precisely for markets nobody else reaches — but it’s a professional-tier product (€10k min, watch margin/financing and fee terms) rather than a cheap retail app, and the consistent watch-outs are fee transparency and withdrawal/settlement timing. Worth verifying margin and corporate-action terms before funding.
Verdict
A high-minimum global broker with a wider EM reach than its marketing implies — Turkey, South Africa, Saudi, UAE and CEE are all on the platform. Not a LatAm/India/SE-Asia frontier solution, and the EUR 10,000 minimum rules out small accounts, but for a globally mobile investor it’s a strong complement to IBKR.
